Nobutaka's Pizza Palace. (Tsu's workplace)

Nobutaka's Pizza Palace is a small pizza shop on the street corner next to the movie theatre. It looks a little shabby from the outside but it's pretty nice on the inside. It looks very much how you would picture an Italian pizzeria which doesn't make sense when you look at where it's located.

Nobutaka himself is not a nice guy and doesn't like to interact with people. So much so that it's a wonder that he has customers at all. Most people don't like him but they come back because the staff is very nice.

Nobutaka was cleaning up after a long days work. He softly cursed under his breathe at his lazy cashier who had taken off early tonight because "she wasn't feeling well". She always pulled that card when she didn't want to work. It drove him crazy.

"Lazy girl. She should be helping me and not lying about being sick all the time," he grumbled.

The other workers just sighed in frustration. They knew that she wasn't faking it but they could never make Nobutaka believe anything.

Tomi glanced outside and saw a strange girl standing outside. He went outside.

" Sorry but we're closing up for the night. You'll have to come back tomorrow if you want a pizza," he told her calmly. He didn't like pulling all the long hours but since he owed the cashier, Tsukiyoko, a lot for getting him this job, he would do it for her.

Ayame smiled gently.
"Could you bend down a little? I want to tell you something. But I don't want say it loud ..." she said very silent hanging her head so her hair cover her face a little. She started to blush, her ears turned red, and a moment later her cheeks were red as well. She clenched her hands and nervously looked around. ... that moment I realized my skirt was ripped from edge to belt. Coach was mad, she started yelling from audience ... she was relating herself in thoughts most embarassing event in her life. It always maked her blush.

Tomi sighed annoyed but did what she asked anyway. He really didn't have time for this. He had to get back to work before the King of Jerk Peoples as Yoko-chan called their boss came out here and got onto him for not helping out.

" Fine, What is it?" he grumbled," I really have to get to work so please make this quick Miss."

"It won't take long." she murmured. When he bend down, she struck him on the temple so quick and hard he lost consicousness before he fall down. Ayame catched him making surprised face. "Hey, what's wrong? Excuse me, do you hear me?" She started to drag him to doors of Pizza Palace. That will take only a moment. As I said. she though letting a small grin show on her face.
She opened door.
"Excuse me, he fainted in front of your shop ... It looked like he was extremly exhausted. Look There's even blood coming out of his nose. Anyway he works here, right? Why so late? You don't know Labour Code?" She startes talking quick as she draged ucconscious man into pizzeria. "Anyway I guess I need to take a call for ambulance. Oh and what's that nasty smell? God, was that cockroach?" She pointed her finger at other corner of room as she get closer to Nobutaka.

The other workers couldn't stop giggling as the girl started to cause a scene. This was more fun than they had had in a long time. But they didn't want to get fired.

Nobutaka couldn't believe the nerve of the girl. He stalked over to her. "Who do you think you are? What makes you think that you can just come in here and......" he trailed off as felt a hand on his arm.

" Let me handle this Nobutaka-san," said the elderly woman who had stopped his tirade. She turned to face the girl while the other workers took Tomi from her. She walked closer to her so they wouldn't be overheard by Nobutaka.

" You must be a friend of Yoko-chan, aren't you? My name is Kaoru but she calls me Grandma. She might have mentioned me" she asked kindly but knowingly," She hasn't been feeling well today so I made her go home. She didn't look so good when she left so I was worried about her. Is she all right? Has anything happened to her? ."

"Mister, your employee fainted. Should I just leaved him on the pavment? You don't suggest me that did you? That's crime. Why are you mad? You always treat people who want to help you that way?" She continued to blabber making quick glances around.
"You must be a friend of Yoko-chan..." She turned her attention at elder woman in front of her. Perfect she though opening eyes wide. "Uum, who? Whoa!" Tomi nearly slipped out of her arms. "Err, could you help me put him somewhere? He's heavy." She sniffed making unplesant face. "What's that? Something started to rot?" She send meaningful glance at Nobutaka. "Why he's so scary, he has hemorrhoids?" she asked Grandma as they started to drag Tomi to one of tables. "A-anyway" she whispered starting to blush "I saw this shop open and though you could let me use phone? It's really important for me, and other shops are already closed ..."

Kaoru nodded and pointed down the hallway," Right down the hall, next to the Men's Bathroom. There's a pay phone right there."

Nobutaka growled," Use it and go. I've got enough trouble on my hands with lazy lying emplyees. I don't need anymore trouble."

He walked behind the counter," Kaoru stop worrying about that lazy lump of cashier and come help me clean. She's not even sick and you know it."

Kaoru frowned at her boss but didn't say anything other than," Yes sir."

Ayame looked at still unconscious man. He won't remember what happen, just have little head ache. Actualy, she shouldn't hit him, but that was her way of acting. She came here without a plan, and was just messing around. It was fun ... No, no, focus. She though to herself.
Ayame walked down the hall way and stood in front of the phone that way she was covering it with her body. There was nice little trick she was planning to use.
"Kya!" she screamed jumping far from phone which started to spark from reciever. Little tailor pin she used hided again stucked into her jeans. If someone didn't know it was here there wasn't a chance to see it. "Ouch! My fingers! It's broken!" She run through hall way. "Excuse me, it's broken it just started to spark and ..." Lights flicker and went down. "KYA! What's happening? It's because phone is broken ... No, o phone is to less, maybe it's bolls? Did you pay bills Mister? Eww, I hate darkness!" Ayame started to struggle in darkness making mess and talk with hysterical voice. For a moment she stopped and then sitted on floor and starter do cry loudly. She even managed to get tears. Actually, she had so much fun that tears came on its own ...

Nobutaka looked around in horror at his business. He walked over to the circuit breaker and cut the power to the place.

" Everyone outside," he screamed. He growled as his employees laughed loudly at his predicament." And stop that laughing."

Kaoru gently placed Tomi onto the outside bench. She gently sat down and then laid his head in her lap. She just wished he was awake to see this. He had wanted to see Nobutaka get what was coming to him for a long time. Hopefully he would wake up soon so that he wouldn't miss all the fun.

Ayame jumped on her feet and started to making mess around her again, bumbing on people, clinging on their clothes, tripping them, and in all possible ways trying to make mess even bigger than it already was. It wasn't difficult in this darkness, when laughing employee of Nobutaka were moving slowly, trying not to trip. If she tripped one of them, rest was making mess asking what happen, getting back to help him get back on feet. In this noisy and messy environment she even managed to grab pants of few person and pull them down. One mor straw~ she hummed in mind tripping and running into Nobutaka so hard that they both landed on the ground. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I don't see a thing, and I'm so scared." She jumped again on her feet, and mingle with employee before Nobutaka said a word. She again tripped few people, and then she jumped near cash desk. With key she stoled a moment ago from owner or restaurant she opened cash register and took half of one hundred-dollar bill. She quickly locked cash register, and stuffed money in Nobutaka wallet.
Ayame tossed keys on the ground. Someone will find them later. As she mingled with employee again she tossed wallet as well, leaving him to get trampled.
Finally she leaved restaurant, and came closer to Grandma. "I'm so sorry, looks like because of me your buisness is ruined for today ... I don't have luck at all today, and on top of that my boyfriend dumped me ... I was going to call Mom ... what should I do now? I can't go back to my boyfriend place ... I;m so sorry ... and my home is quite far from here ..." she sniffed and weeped last tears that showed in her eyes. Now she really looked as if she spend hours on crying, with wet cheeks and red eyes. That insomnia can be usefull. she though. Indeed, from lack of sleep her eyes were constantly red.

Kaoru smiled at the girl and felt Tomi stir on her lap. She looked down and sure enough, he was waking up.

" About time Tomi-kun. You missed all the fun," she told him teasingly. He sat up and rubbed the side of his head that Ayame had hit earlier.

" I did huh? What kind of "fun"? " he asked her. She quickly explained and nearly died from laughing. When he finally calmed down, he turned to the girl.

" Nice job and you can drop the act. We know you're a friend of Yoko-chan. Her brothers drove him crazy last month with prank order calls because he made her overdue it. Stupid Jerk can't figure out that she's not lying about being sick," he said as he got up and helped Kaoru to her feet," You must be Ayame. She's told me alot about you. I'm Tomi Kuro. Nice to meet ya." He held out his hand for her to shake.

Ayame smiled lightly and winked, making sure Nobutaka can see only her back. "If I were you madam, I'd check that gloomy man wallet later. Looks like someone is using too much money for women and buisness is suffering from that ..." she said loudly. She ignored Tomi hand as she turned head in the direction of park. "Isa, what's that?" she whispered. Bad feeling was rising in her.
"OH NO!" she screamed suddenly hiding mouth in hands. "I left my wallet in my boyfriend's place!" as she turned she murmured to Tomi and Grandma: "Have fun." and started to run towards park.


[Ayame leaved CITY CENTRE and is going to THE PARK]

Kaoru smiled sweetly but inside she was cheering. They finally had a chance to get rid of Nobutaka. They had waiting for this for a long time. He terrorized them all enough especially poor little Yoko-chan who was so sick that she shouldn't be working here anyway and often took the blame for some of Junko mistakes with the orders.

Tomi smirked," Yeah, I'll go check. I mean I've noticed that money's been disappearing a lot lately." He went over to check Nobutaka's wallet.

He took the wallet ignoring Nobutaka screaming for him to return it. He held up the moeny he had found inside." Well what do we have here. Kaoru, I think we might need to call the police. I think our dear boss has been stealing from us."

Kaoru nodded," Indeed it appears so. Tomi, you hang on to that wallet. Haku, Yu, and Junko, make sure that he doesn't run off." They all nodded in response and went about their appointed tasks.

Kaoru went over to the nearest phone. She dialed the police and said," Hello my name is Kaoru and I'd like to report a robbery.........'

After the recent events which lead to Nobutaka being arrested (see above), the pizza place has changed management but still kept it name.

Kaoru is now the manager since she was part owner of the business and she is now the sole owner.

Tsukiyoko rushed through the door and wuickly caught her breathe. She waved hello to a few of the other employees and went in the kitchen area to get her apron.

Kaoru smiled brightly as Tsukiyoko went past her. She was happy that she was feeling better and hopefully wouldn't strain herself at work here. Kaoru would see to it that she wouldn't.

Tsukiyoko grabbed her off the peg on the wall and put it on. She then went up to the cash register to wait for customers.

May sighed as she enter the pizza parlor. She looked around and spotted a familiar person. "Yoko-chan." she said as she walked to the counter. She looked at the menu and said "A slice of cheese pizza please." She smiled at the older girl. She had not seen her since the day at the hospital. May looked around. She was still edgy and wished she had woken her Sacrifice so Kyo could come too.

To say she was surprised would have been an understatement. Work had been going rather slowly today since not many people had come in. She was just about to take her break when May walked through the door.

Tsukiyoko hadn't seen May in a while. Since she had gone to hospital after being attacked by her dad come to think of it.

She smiled brightly and said," Hiya May-chan. Long time no see. One slice of cheese pizza coming up." She went to the back to get it. She went to her manager, Kaoru, and told that she would be taking her break now. Kaoru nodded and told her to eat something.

Tsukiyoko grabbed a bad of chips and a soda along with May's order. She went around the counter in the front and stopped in front of May.

" You don't mind me eating with you do you? I was about to take my luch break anyway," she asked sweetly. She was happy to see her friend but couldn't help feeling that something was wrong. It was the same feeling that she had had earlier but no maybe she could find out what it meant.

May smiled and nodded. "Of course." She said as May grabbed the pizza and walked to a empty booth. May took a seat and bit into her pizza. It had been forever since she had pizza. Her smile grew as she took another bite of the delicious food. She sighed as she looked out the window.

Tsukiyoko smiled and sat down in front of May. She opened her bad of chips and soda. She took a few bites of the chips and sighed. She knew something was up and now was the time to ask.

" May-chan, what's wrong. I know something's up but I can't figure out what it is. I've felt it on Aya-chan and I's connection," she told her friends with a sad look on her face," I'm worried that something really bad is happening but ...." she couldn't finish her sentence and sighed at the end of it.

May froze. She turned to Yoko-chan. "Ritsu wanted to take my Sacrifice and give me a new one. We had a bit of a confrontation." She said stiffly. May still had to get ready to see the guy. May wondered if Kyo was still at home. She sighed and continued to eat her slice of pizza. May soon finished and got up to throw the plate away. Sitting down she studied Tsukiyoko's face.

As they get there Zain opens the door fr Kyo to step through first. As they head inside he notices two familiar faces. Tsukiyoko and May together at a table. "Would you like to sit with May or would you like to sit alone and chat?" Zain asks as Kyo stands there in shock.

´´Let´s sit alone and chat.´´ Kyo said seriously. ´So May came here alone to hang out with friends.Pk, if i´m such a burden to her then i´ll leave her.´ Kyo walked torward a table that was the farest away possible from where May sat.

Zain sat down and leaned on the table. "So what did you want to know Kyo?" Zain asked as he pulled a waitress over and asked for a water.

´´I don´t know.How about you tell me something about you and then i´ll tell you something about me?I hope you won´t laught but i never had male friends so i don´t really know what to ask...´´Kyo said shyly and waited for the answer.

May looked over to see Zain and Kyo. "Kyo!" May squeeled as she bounded over to her Sacrifice. "I'm sorry for earlier. I didn't want to wake you. You needed your beauty rest. Well I will let you guys talk since you guys must not want any company." May said while smiling. She nodded at Zain and walked back to Tsukiyoko.

Zain had nodded back to May and turned to Kyo. "Well my name is Zain Kajira and I am an artist as you can see from the building that you stepped into. I also have a night job and some other side ones. What about you? Just relax you don't have to be nervous around me at all. May could even tell you that." Zain mentions as he holds on to her hands and tries to calm her down.
