Hard to let it go Empty
PostSubject: Hard to let it go   Hard to let it go I_icon_minitimeWed Apr 14, 2010 7:06 am

A sigh moved out of Rai as he headed through the familiar wooded area, staying steady on a well traveled, though unofficial, path. The weather had picked up since the boy had left his house, considerably warmer, though still not enough that the he'd be comfortable without his jacket on. Patches of snow still lingered around the trail, clinging to the branches and hillside before the season would scare them away. Further up the path the trees were marked with slices in their bark, wounds typically caused from misguided spells. The setting was nostalgic to the brown haired male, as the the small forest around the Seven Moons Academy was a place he thought fondly of. A bit of anxiety disappeared just by being in this place, over powered by memories of old times there.

The foliage gradually faded as the teen traveled onward. He picked up pace once his destination came into sight, the seven moons, sitting nestled away from the city and non-units. Upon approaching the unsurpassed ring of younger fighters could be heard beyond the walls of the school causing a smile to spread across Rai's face. He missed it there, despite everything. Over his years at the academy the boy had been tossed between a few different sacrifices, presented to them as a blank. It never worked out though, generally because the male always kept his 'other half' from imprinting their name on him. Back then, he never had the courage to step up as the senseless fighter. What he thought as his true name had never shown up on his body, something the stopped him from knowing for sure. Even now he couldn't see himself proclaiming himself the senseless fighter, not unless his sacrifice came around.

Rai stopped just outside the door of the building, readjusting the strap for his backpack. The whole reason he had come here was to ask about the senseless sacrifice who had allegedly meet just a few days before. The girl had moved in and out of his life so quickly it was almost as if she hadn't been there at all. With no evidence on the matter, the teen had to wonder if she wasn't just a delusion.

'That's why I'm here though.' the fighter thought, mulling over his idea once more. Ritsu knew about all the units, so surely he could straighten out the matter of who the brown haired boy had ran into - or not run into. Rai sighed once more at meeting Ritsu, backing out of the way of the door in order to regain himself. There was no where to sit on the columned porch, but Rai was just as happy standing for a moment. He hadn't been quite sure what to expect, but so far, nothing had been different.

Hard to let it go Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hard to let it go   Hard to let it go I_icon_minitimeWed Apr 28, 2010 2:22 am

Leaves and other foliage crunched under Mitsuki’s flip-flops as she traversed through the woodland that surrounded Seven Moons. A light layer of sweat glistened on her skin whenever the sun managed to peak through the leaves overhead. It wasn’t particularly warm out, but the walk from her apartment complex here was no cake walk. Hopefully the journey would be worth it.
She wasn’t expecting to find her Fighter here. Only hoped to catch some tidbit of information that would help her find them. Anything hint or clue was better than nothing. ‘It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack,’ she mused her ears flattening against her skull.
She continued like that for a bit longer, with only the sound of her footsteps announcing her presence before the trees started to part and give way to the large building known as Seven Moons Academy. For her unlike many others, the sight of the building brought back warm pleasant memories. Her time here had been some of the best years of her life; especially when compared to her life with her mother. Mitsuki paused for a moment letting the familiarity of the place wash over her before starting forward again only to stop once her rust colored eyes settled upon the form of another. A single glance at the stranger was all it took for something to change within in her.

((Sorry its so short. ^^; The next ones will be longer))

Hard to let it go Empty
PostSubject: Re: Hard to let it go   Hard to let it go I_icon_minitimeWed May 05, 2010 6:49 am

The brown haired boy leaded his head back to touch the school, staring out at the yard. Gray clouds pushed in over the area, casting away the sunlight he had so appreciated. Beyond the field, on the edge of the woods some movement could be seen from someone approaching. 'A fighter?' the thought flashed through his mind, but there was no ringing. Still though, something was definitely there. A twinge inside of him, quite unlike anything he'd ever felt upon meeting a unit.

A drizzle started, lightly tapping on the porch 's roof. Not too far in the distance, the skies were still clear, hinting that the rain would just pass. Pushing off the outside of the building, Rai took a few awkward steps toward the girl. Maybe what he had felt was just in his imagination, but he wasn't about to let it pass by without exploring it. "Hey..." The fighter said holding his hand in a motionless wave, "Would you like to step out of the rain?" He invited, hoping to get to speak with her for a minute.

Puzzled Mitsuki’s head cocked to the side slightly, ‘What is this?’ It was a strange feeling… No more like a pull, as if she were made of iron and he was a magnet drawing her in. Unconsciously she started to take a few steps forward towards him just as he stepped towards her. Maybe this, whatever it was, wasn’t one-sided. When she stopped moving forward, pausing in her steps resisting the pull, Mistuki realized something. The wondrous sensation seemed to be pulsing through out her from a given point, her chin. Or more exactly her True name. Suddenly it all clicked into place for her. He was her Fighter and she was his Sacrifice.

"Would you like to step out of the rain?"

His words startled Mitsuki out of her thoughts, “Huh?” She glanced up at the gray sky, blinking when a few cold droplets splattered on her cheeks. “Yeah, sure, thanks.” She grimaced turning her gaze from the Fighter across from her to the ground. ‘Real smooth Mitsuki, you finally found him and that’s the best you can come up with?’ her ears flattened against her head for a moment then perked back up. Pointedly she started forward again pausing for a moment next to the male giving him a warm smile, then headed up the steps to the school. Stopping beside one of the large columns she turned back towards him, “You coming?” The playful words were followed by a tiny grin.

Hard to let it go Empty

As the young woman stepped closer it was obvious something was there. The thin thread lit up with every stray sunbeam that was able to make it's way past the clouds. His mouth opened breathlessly, as Rai watched in wonder for a brief second, standing against the attraction with an awkward stance. The pull was like nothing he'd ever felt with another person, let alone another unit. The underside of his jawline held the most force directing his gaze forward and down slightly, straight towards the girl.

“You coming?”

Snapping out of the trance, the fighter gave an immediate nod to the question. Moving to her side as quickly as possible, it crossed his mind that if he stayed away from her too long he may actually move across the porch involuntarily. "Ah," Rai couldn't help but smile as he settled beside her, ears fluttering halfway up his head, "...I'm Rai Nevin." His hand gave a lackluster gesture towards himself before turning over, offering itself to the sacrifice.

Hard to let it go Empty

Mitsuki leaned back against the cool marble of one of the columns, her arms flat at her side with her palms pressed lightly against the stone. This was all rather hard for her to believe. This wasn’t supposed to be this easy. For years she’d dreamed about who her Fighter would be, imagined all the wonderful and hard times they would share because of the name that linked them. And now... Now she found it hard to believe that by a stroke of fate they’d found each other. She suddenly had the urge to pinch herself, just to make sure this wasn’t a dream. But just as her left hand started to move across her chest to her other arm she stopped herself. It would look rather silly if she pinched herself right now, so the hand fell back down to her side.

When he spoke, again she blinked twice as if coming out of a daze her rust colored tail flickered from side to side against the back of her thighs. “I’m Mitsuki. Mitsuki Sanjo.” Again her left hand rose, this time to grasp the hand that the Fighter, no he had a name now... The hand that Rai offered her. “I’ve been waiting to meet you for a long time.” The words thoughtlessly slipped out of her mouth. ‘Ugh, that made me sound creepy. He probably thinks I’m a total freak now.’ It took all of her self control not to let out a loud groan and keep the friendly smile in place on her lips and the idea of hitting her head against the column behind her was starting to sound rather appealing to her right about now. ‘Better not do that either, no need to make him think I’m crazy and masochistic.’

Just as soon as it had started the rain passed, pushed out of the area by the slight bit of wind. Rai hadn't even noticed the change in weather however. When his partner's hand touched his, everything else melted away for a moment. His eyes closed and the fighter breathed out as his fingers wrapped around the girl's. He felt a lot calmer now too, so much so that he could barely remember why he was ever nervous about coming here in the first place.

"Same here Sanjo-sama." Rai said, still beaming, his gaze falling to their interlocked hands. The boy was so caught up in his own excitement he completely missed his partner's small amount of distress. ''Sama' wasn't too formal, was it?' the fighter's expression faltered at the thought, but picked up when he raised his eyes to her's once more. Mitsuki had such a sweet face, it put him at ease some how. Since joining hands their magnetic pull had subsided a bit, but the male still slipped a little closer, not wanting to be apart from his other half.

"...You are the senseless sacrifice, correct? No matter what I am your fighter, of course, but..." The explanation behind the statement was something Rai didn't feel like covering at the moment, especially if it didn't end up being necessary, however it was a bit embarrassing having to ask. As of yet, he hadn't seen the girl's true name, though that wasn't unusual as most people tried to hide it.

Normally Mitsuki would have let her hand fall back to her side after exchanging a greeting with someone, but right now her hand was perfectly content to stay where it was. In fact being closer didn’t sound bad at all. But for now at least she kept her feet firmly planted on the ground, her morals simply wouldn’t let her do anything more without learning more about a person. Though at the current moment she was fully okay with throwing them away with wild abandon.

“Oh no, please call me Mitsuki or Mitsu,” she let very few people call her by Mitsu mostly just people she’d known for a long time and deemed friends but since the man before her was her other half he automatically received such a right in her opinion. “Sama sounds too harsh,” she didn’t want to give him the impression that she was the type of Sacrifice who ruled with an iron fist. No she was above that, and instead had always hoped for a more personal and intimate relationship.

Mitsuki blinked quizzically at Enrai’s question. Wasn’t it obvious, surely the feeling they had now could be explained no other way. Nonetheless she tipped her head up revealing the only recent appearance of her true name. Hopefully that would qualm any worries he had about her being his Sacrifice. However she couldn’t help but wonder what his reasons were for asking her, and her stomach twisted into painful knots at the thought of him already not liking her. “Is something wrong?” All her worries were poured into and blatantly obvious with the simple question.
