Personality:
Ichiro is easy going and loves to make people laugh unless in battle when he becomes serious and focused. He can lose control of his temper but quickly apologizes when he is in the wrong. Ichiro is mysterious which makes him sexy and intriguing and he doesn't open himself personally with many people. He is protective of his younger siblings Nori (sister) and Ayane (brother), but never controlling. He finds challenges interesting and will accept one fairly quickly. If he becomes angry Ichiro would rather walk away and regain his composure then have a big confrontation.

Background:
From the time he was 10 years old until he was 17 Ichiro was in a coma in the hospital. (Because of his extended stay Ichiro despises hospitals and does his very best to stay clear of them.) Playing with his sister Nori on an iced over pond he fell and hit his head leaving Nori alone with their mother and father. When he woke up Ichiro was surprise to find his parents had adopted Ayane (making him feel as if they were replacing him) and had been abusing Nori while he was in the coma which also suprised him because they had always been nice to him. These feelings ruined his relationship with his parents, making it hard to trust someone or become close to him emotionally.
Also upon waking up, Ichiro became acquainted with Sato Kimimaro who was also staying in the hospital. Quickly, he developed feelings for the younger boy. However they fell apart when Sato was kicked out of his house at the age of 13. They were reacquainted some years later, when Sato was 17 and Ichiro was 22. Ichiro again fell quickly for the boy and they quickly became lovers.

Other:
Ichiro feels responsible for the physical and emotional pain Nori has had to feel for all those years and regrets not being able to save or protect her when she needed him which makes him resent himself. Ichiro mostly keeps these personal thoughts and feelings to himself because they are painful for him to think or talk about and thinks it's weak to show extreme emotion. He trys to make up for this by making the people around him happy (which in turn makes him feel a bit better) and being as protective of the ones he loves as possible without interfering with their lives.
Ichiro's job often causes him to go away for long periods of time. The only person other than himself and his employer who know of his job is Sato. Ichiro fears telling Nori and Ayane would hurt them and ruin their relationship.
