•αρρєαɾαŋcє: jet black hair that falls nearly to the small of her back when straightened, with bangs that cover her forehead with two longer wispy pieces that frame her heart shaped face. Her eyes are an angry grey like storm clouds before the rain. Her skin is a pale white, a consequence of spending most of her time holed up in the academy library reading instead of spending the day out in the sunshine like other students. Self inflicted scars and fresh scabs cover the insides of her thighs, but she keeps them carefully covered at all times. Her ears and tail are not visible, giving most the impression that she isn’t a virgin, but that’s not the case (it will be explained in her background). Seriyu stands at a pleasant 5’5 and her body weight is slightly lower than average at 105lbs. She wears contacts for reading purposes, and on occasion can be seen in a pair of plain thin black framed glasses.

•ρєɾƨoŋαʅɨтч: a perfectionist to the end, she strives to excel at everything she attempts. Failure is simply not an option for her, though she never believes that what she does do is perfect, for Seriyu suffers from an extreme case of autophobia. Meaning she loathes herself to the point of self destruction. Her self-hatred leads her to physically abuse herself in the form of cutting and various other pain inducing activities. But she keeps all of it to herself and to many people comes off as witty and thoughtful, but its only a mask to keep them from discovering how she really feels. She tries her best to fool the outside world by keeping her grades outstanding, her appearance impeccable, and her forced persona believable. For she hopes that maybe one day, if she tries hard enough, she can become the perfect being she so greatly desires to be.

•ʅɨᴋєƨ: birds, saltwater taffy, reading, cinnamon flavored gum and candy, cherries, spontaneity, full moons, skirts, fuzzy pajamas, and Italian food.

•ɗɨƨʅɨᴋєƨ: herself, bananas, pears, bright outrageous colors, swimming (she has a fear of drowning), and opera music.

•вαcᴋԍɾuoŋɗ: Even from birth it was evident that Seriyu was an odd child, whether she was hungry or tired, sick or unhappy she never cried, never shed a tear. She was always oddly silent not like the average baby who cooed and laughed. Instead she merely watched the world around her with her steely grey eyes with mild interest. Her parents of course were concerned about their daughter but the doctors all assured them that she was perfectly healthy and said that they shouldn’t worry and should be happy that they have such a well behaved baby. Her quiet nature continued well into her toddler and preschool years, but by now her parents had come to accept their soft spoken child. Looking back on it, Seriyu would call those her ignorant years before she learned of just what a monster she was.

She was seven when she first learned of Yumi, the girl who would have been her twin. The girl who died in her mother’s womb a week before birth. The girl she killed. At some point during the pregnancy Seriyu’s umbilical cord became wrapped around Yumi’s tender neck, eventually strangling the baby. The fact that she was the cause of her sister’s death wrecked havoc on her mental state. She began seeing herself as a murderer, and a monster. Not worthy of living. Her attitude changed suddenly, no longer was she merely quiet, but instead she was completely detached from the world. Her parents were at a loss of what to do, and eventually resorted to hospitalizing her at a special pediatric psychiatric hospital. Seriyu spent one year there working through her depression, and eventually was released. Though she was far from cured. Not six months later she was hospitalized again after forcibly cutting off her own ears and tail her first act of self mutilation. Her parents and doctors alike were horrified and she was immediately hospitalized again and put on suicide watch. Though it was unneeded, she wasn’t suicidal. Seriyu had long since decided that she wasn’t worthy of death. Nonetheless she remained in the hospital for three years before being suddenly released at the age of eleven. One of the nurses at the hospital managed to pull some strings and have her discharged, though it wasn’t because she was better. But rather because the nurse recognized her as being a Fighter, a blank one at that. And the nurse felt that Seriyu would be better off studying Seven Moons than wasting away in the psychiatric ward. And Seven Moons is where she has remained for the past seven years, studying rigorously, and carefully keeping her self abuse a secret. She’d learned that as long as people didn’t see the scars they didn’t ask questions.

•oтʜєɾ: she hates talking about herself, and always changes the subject whenever someone starts asking about her, passing it off as being to modest. She dislikes her position as a Fighter, though finds it terribly fitting that she is the one to cause pain. She also dislikes being a blank, it upsets her that she is merely a replacement for others and not destined to be with one specific person. Though she feels that she would be unworthy of having a Sacrifice of her own.
