Personality:
General- She's kind and sweet. She can tend to be a little shy around those whom she doesn't know. To those who flirt with her she turns DEEP red and nearly collapses. Nearly, she just sways close to the ground.. She carries a camera around with her taking pictures a-lot of the time. She like to write occasionally. And she adores video games. However.. Her and her father figure do not have the best relationship.. So favors her mother, almost as if she were a goddess. She regularly is punished by her father and unpunished by her mother. She's grown used to it.

Sweet- Like sugar. She'll definitely leave an impression on you. Her tone is soft as she speaks with you. There is almost a constant smile on her lips. She likes everyone.

Kind- She will take that extra step just to help someone. There is no person she will not help. No matter whom that is.. That occasionally leads to her troubles..

Background: Kei, the daughter of a wealthy business man and a at-home mother. Born on a cool spring evening. Her mother was breathless at the beauty of her new daughter. A little angel, soft brown eyes like the woman's own and dark hair like her father. It was a perfect combination. She held the young child close to her body and cried happily. But where was the father to be seen? No where. He was out with one of his girlfriends. He was an attractive young business man, it was normal.. Right?

4 years later.

Kei walked up on the stage of her Preschool 'graduation', Holding the mic in hand and singing out to the crowd brilliantly, with her classmates. She looked into the audience and spotted her mother looking up at her.. but.. Her father wasn't there.. She continued to sing until her song was finished. Her notes not wavering. She bowed softly and walked off the stage, going to sit next to her mother. Whispering as her classmate sang now.

"Mama.. Why isn't Daddy here?"

"Something important at work cam up for daddy.." The woman tried to say earnestly, a painted chinadoll smile on her lips. Trying to get the girl to believe..

Kei nodded softly, not believing it for a second. But pressing on a fake smile for her Mother, she was too smart for a 4 year old.

5 years later.

Kei sat at the table, eating a sandwich her mother had made for her. Almost worshipping it as she ate it. She was at the tender age of nine. but she knew what hate was.. and it walked into the room. She hadn't forgiven him for not being there at her birth OR her graduation of preschool.
Kei stood up and walked out of the kitchen. She was no longer hungry. Her father was there. She felt his gaze on the newly appeared mark on her chest.

He walked over to his wife and they talked. Kei never paid attention to that. She did not like his voice.. Nor did she like his face.. or anything about him..

He was always trying to gain her trust, love, respect.. He had failed in all areas.. She would NEVER forgive that man..

She sighed softly and looked down at the marking on her chest.. Running her fingers along it.. wondering what it meant...

"Breathless.."

Present times..

Kei laid in bed, listening to her parents argue over her recent punishment and unpunishment.. Her father punished her again for no apparent reason.. then slapped her.

Kei hadn't said a word to him in years.. So he just punished her.. Over..and over again.. She didn't care anymore.. He was useless in her life..

She just laid there as she played her DSI. Humming happily.

So now she just enjoys a regular school life, with an abusive father and a sweet mother.

Life couldn't be better.
